Our stay in Liechtenstein provided interesting discussions. Especially controlling the FANs of Bart’s (PA3HEA) home made transceiver gave us some interesting food for thought.
From October 12 – 19 we are/were active again in Liechtenstein, our favorite holiday/expedition location.
A while ago I was warned by eBay (you can set warnings if you’re looking for specific items) that another Yaesu FTV-650B transverter was available.
Now summer is starting, it’s time to pick up QRP working in the field. I have a favorite picknick bench which I use for my activities.
A couple of years ago, our radio club published a design of a Lightning detector based on the AS3935 chip and an Arduino Nano processor. That worked, but not with everybody.
We just returned from (another) trip to Liechtenstein: the place we visit once or twice a year as a mini expedition and holiday.
Remember that I was rebuilding the bandfilters of my home-brew multiband transceiver? They’re ready now and the results are better than I expected.
Remember the Lightning detector project we did a couple of years ago? Many of them are currently offline. But we’re working on version 4!
We’re currently working on a weather station that will also show the current conditions.
A couple of weeks ago, I finished my Multiband QRP TRX, which has all amateur bands from 160m – 10m with at least 5W output on all bands.
